因此在改装时，建议增设混水恒温装置，通过循环泵强制循环。注意：如果增设混水装置时，由于难以估算原暖气系统阻力，选择的循环泵过大时，有可能会影响其他用户正常采暖。专家建议在循环泵增设一个旁通，如果阻力过大不能满足地暖系统时，可开启循环泵。

地暖管盘越长，产生的阻力越大，运行时耗电越多。这就要求各个环路的长度不要相差太大，以免水力失调，造成有的环路热，有的环路不热。一般各个环路长度差不要超过10%，各管路以不超过120米为宜。
